An accomplished cellist and the Assistant Principal Cellist of the prestigious BBC Philharmonic,
Maria Zachariadou is a passionate chamber musician whose work is reflected in her remarkable recordings, including the critically acclaimed album "Baroque Dialogues." Based in Manchester, Maria finds inspiration in the city's vibrant music community, balancing her professional pursuits with her role as a devoted mother and spouse. Her unwavering commitment to artistic excellence continues to shape her career and captivate audiences worldwide.
Ugnius Pauliukonis, an accomplished pianist and educator, recognized for his versatility across various musical genres from Renaissance to contemporary works. Graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music, he has established himself as a successful soloist and chamber musician, captivating audiences in renowned concert halls such as the Bridgewater Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the iconic Elbphilharmonie.
In addition to his performing career, Ugnius is a founding member and managing director of the SONO ensemble, an innovative chamber music group that pushes the boundaries of traditional performances. His dedication to music education is evident through his masterclasses and workshops held internationally.
